Just wanted to let you know that a few of us will be at the lake this Sunday morning with the boats.

We have been having dialogue with John Doran, the Duty Manager at Willen Lake, quite often now and obviously always make sure he’s happy. If he’s about when we are there, he often comes and says hello and seems to like the boats. Normally we go to the lake early on a Sunday and are gone by 9.30am, but this Sunday we thought we would stay a little longer - take some chairs and enjoy the weather and each others company! As that isn’t our normal pattern, I have let John know and he’s been very accommodating…

 So we will now have a gazebo to protect us from the weather and possibly a generator to help charge batteries. John is fully aware and has given us his blessing. He has even said he will provide some crowd barriers to make sure nobody comes too close to the boats!

 Anyway, as we are there and will be for a few hours on Sunday morning, we wondered whether you would like to extend the offer of coming down to any other members.
